Job Description:

Contributes to Starbucks success by effectively developing and leading complex direct sourcing strategies. Effectively manages suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance for the spend in a specific product category. Consistently delivers measurable and strategic goals to enable bottom-line and top-line company growth and corporate social responsibility leadership. Collaborates effectively internally and with suppliers and develops effective negotiation strategies to enable success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficiently advanced employ program and project management tools and techniques
• Independently solve problems and make decisions for primary and strategic execution and tactical issues within the relevant portfolio of projects and or processes
• Provide day to day oversight and perform a hands-on execution role
• Participate in and actively lead cross functional teams to successfully execute complex sourcing and commercial projects in support of the defined category plans / strategy
• Significant experience in sourcing/procurement – beverage categorie
• Excellent knowledge and experience of executing and managing of sourcing category strategies
• Knowledge of supplier relationship management, ‘should-cost’ models, supplier continuous improvement programs and Lean initiatives
• Strong and effective decision-making capacity
• Effective at interpreting complex and multiple sources of information to make decisions
• Improves processes to eliminate non-value adding activities
• Highly effective collaboration skills
• Effective at influencing others, including. executive management
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent analytical skills
