Job Description:
The Marketing department works to ensure that the United experience, products and loyalty program are the best in the airline industry, and communicates these unique features to our millions of customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stay current on design software, web and usability standards
- Collaborate with brand identity, editorial, web production, marketing strategy, product team, social media, UX, loyalty and other business stakeholders
- Design logos, icons, infographics and presentation decks
- Maintain digital standards & style guides to optimize branding
- Create integrated campaigns to enhance branding in all channels with visual storytelling and an emotive customer experience
- Create visual & user interface designs for responsive web & mobile products
- Concept and present email, motion graphics, video, web and mobile solutions for business needs
Job Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize projects to meet critical deadlines
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
- Strategic problem solver
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Mastery of design tools such as Sketch, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Experience with After Effects and other audio/video editing software a plus.
- 3 to 5 years experience (5+ preferred), digital marketing in an agency or equivalent environment
- Design or Interactive Media-related degree or equivalent experience in the interactive design field
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Knowledge of production best practices in print, email and UX
- Ability to work on varied projects, tight deadlines and a high volume of work
- Portfolio of work samples that demonstrate ability to concept, design and translate ideas into workable solutions
- Demonstrates agility with design solutions
- Great communication: verbal, written, and presentation in both individual and group settings
- Ability to tell a compelling story through design
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to turn complex design challenges into innovative elegant solutions, and to put those solutions into tangible form
- Ability to explain usability and user experience to other departments– in their language
- Ability to run presentation meetings, design reviews, and creative workshops
- Intuitive understanding and empathy for everyday users: their motivators, their goals, their barriers
- Experience designing B2C integrated campaigns
- Experience concerting, designing and delivering marketing creative
- Established portfolio of branded creative
